NSW Junior Championships 2014

Results are attached great meet for the club, highlights being our two U20 athletes – Rhys Stein (Gold) with 68.41 in the javelin only 9cm off World Junior qualification and Georgia Wassell Gold in the 400m (54.89) already qualified for World Juniors in the 800m. Other medallists were: Angus A (Gold – PV), Jasmine D (Gold – Walk), Nicole G (Bronze – HJ), Charlie H (Silver – 1500m), Mudith J (Gold – PV), Liam M (Bronze – 100m), Catherine M (Gold in 1500m & Silver in 800m), Larissa O (Silver – Discus), Hayden P (Silver – HJ), Tabitha P (Bronze – Walk), Abbey R (Gold – 1500m), Binta S (Gold – PV), Tavleen S (Gold in 200m & Silver in 100m), David S (Silver in HJ) and Gabriel W (Gold – PV).

Hunter Track Classic – Saturday, 18th January

Hunter Track Classic 4x100m relays for Saturday, 18th January have been selected as: Womens – Tavleen Elise SinghSara KleinGeorgia Wassall and Elizabeth Baral, plus Mens – Robert Jessep, Liam McCann, Jack Bangel, and Jeff Pillon.  Also Jake SteinKyle CranstonJohn Crandell, Rhys Stein, Larissa O’DeaDavid Snowdon, Angus Armstrong, Mudith Jayasekara and Ben Baker are also competing.

Jack Brown 8th 2000m Steeplechase (6:52.81), Jasmine Dighton 5th 5000m Walk (26:13.83), Angus Armstrong Gold in Pole Vault (4.50m), Mudith Jayasekara Silver in Pole Vault (4.35m), Catherine Miller Gold in 800m & 1500m in (2:15.19 and 4:39.28), Gabriel Wahl 8th in Pole Vault (2.60m), Charlie Hunter Silver in 1500m and Bronze in 3000m (4:01.21 and 8:55.46), Larissa O’Dea Silver in Discus (44.56m), Elizabeth Baral Silver in Pole Vault (3.25m), Rhys Stein Silver in Javelin (69.14m) and Binta Salawu  Gold in Pole Vault (3.20m).
